kind of music

Houston Texas Artist Rob Carranza...compared to The FooFighters, Jimmy Eatworld, and Incubus. In the past Rob formed the band StarFX , which achieved moderate success with their national release of "Changes" in 2000. Later that same year recorded a demo with Producer Dave Ahlert (The Jacksons, Earth To Andy, Fleetwood Mac, Sugar Ray, Blue October) and with the help of Attorney Al Staeheley (Stevie Ray Vaughan, King's X, Blue October) received 6 label offers. ...

in 2004 teamed up with wife Melanie (former Sony/BMG Exec.) formed a group and performed at SXSW in Austin. Rob and Melanie co-wrote song "Where Did I Go". Melanie dropped out of band to raise son Diego. Finally Rob started new project Carranza and has carried on the family art!
